Anthem receives more backlash from their latest product
Bioware has had a rough few years after critical and fan mauling’s of their recent additions to classic bioware franchises with both Dragon Age and Mass Effect Andromeda receiving harsh backlash from fans due to the decrease in writing quality, facial animations, bugs galore and the mission quality.
They have only increased in volume after their new release Anthem has garnered similar outrage especially with accusations of downgrading the graphics, with the E3 demo showing a massive downgrade in the facial animations.
Anthem was a mistake?
Some different criticism has emerged by Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter. Who when talking to CNBC, had some very strong words to say about EA.
That EA had “made a mistake”, adding: “My personal view is that this is just not a PC game – there is flying in the game, and maneuvering your flying character is like driving a car; the controls just don’t work well for that on PC, and they work flawlessly on (video game consoles)”.
Anthem has received a bad reception both critically and commercially and their numbers
